THE RAPPIN' REVERAND, DR. C. DEXTER WISE THE 3RD - I AINT INTO THAT (SHORT VERSION)

Lemme start of by saying that a favorite thing of mine is finding weird rap on wax or cassette tapes, so expect it to pop up here from time to time, anyways I ripped my own personal copy for you people, no one really knows what  I'm on when I pull this out the crate but the heavily educated Dr Wise gives this funky  beat produced by Raymond Wise (who also plays the synthesizer) the business. This outta-sight rapmaster-throwdown-in-the-name-of-christ has a long and short version plus a wicked B side entitled "Original Rap". Dr. Wise is still spreading the good word to this day and is a fairly successful preacher man, so here she is in all her glory...

LEE OSKAR - HAUNTED HOUSE 45 RPM SINGLE CUT

Some of you kids out there might know this, by some i mean not many, but Lee Oskar is, simply put one funky harmonican, who held it down for the legendary Group WAR, now this track isn't too rare, however I found the 45 at one of the local thrift spots and when i put it on i noticed that it's cut differently than the album version, the longer intro / outro version is probably my more favored but the 45 version has a nice solid break to start and a few more melodic breakdowns than the album version.
Dance with the ghosts in your bedroom to this one.

THE POP SINGERS AND ORCHESTRA - THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN

Took a gamble on this Peter Pan Label compilation of TV show themes, and it paid off big time.
Initially I picked it up to peep the Police Woman and Bionic Woman themes, which I've never heard before, but the Pop Singers Orchestra comes correct on the Theme for the Six a Million Lira hombre.

JOHN BLAIR Feat. GOOGIE COPPOLA - DON'T FEEL THAT WAY NO MORE

This is a selection off of the 1977 LP - We Belong Together on CTI Records. It is a ballad about the ups, downs and miscommunication in relationships and This could be one of my  favorite songs ever made, the spacey synths over the groovy guitars of Hiram Bullock, and the wailing vocals of John Blair and Googie Coppola, who sorta seems to be the ying to Blair's yang and appears on most of the songs and even the back cover. John also plays the Vitar on the whole album, the first 8 bars will let you know why this song causes cosmic freak-outs in the Grisly manor.
