This Library-style soundtrack to the 1976 blockbuster movie, "To Keep This Land Alive" produced by the Reimer Company, intended for Big Rig employees and customers contains a hidden gem of sorts. At first glance this record might seem like some crappy country western twang type theme record, and in ways it sorta is, but Bob Brooks comes correct on a weird, synthed out theme for my home town called "The Winnipeg Connection". My copy even contains a personal hand signed message from Don S. Reimer himself to Barbra & Ray, that reads "I think about things that aren't and wonder how they would be if they were, then cause them to happen - DSR", words of a true long-hauler visionary. This revolutionist of film and transport must sit in his empty bath-tub and listen to these killer grooves all night long.
